Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $12.00 to $13.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Refrigerated

Type of Travel: Short-haul, Local, Provincial/territorial

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
