Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $40,000.00 per year for a 37 hour week.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association, Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.

Area of Specialization: Hydraulics and fluids, Materials handling, Nuclear, Robotics or controls, Thermal, Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)

Specific Skills: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems, Design power plants, machines and equipment, Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures, Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs

Work Setting: Consulting firm, Educational Institution

Project and Personnel Management Skills: Technical writing and article/report authoring
