Terms: This is a permanent, part time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: Econo Lodge Moncton will provide training..

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Multi-line switchboard, Computerized reservation system, HMI, Database software, Basic computer skills (will train), Internet browser

Work Setting: Hotel

Type of Bookkeeping and Accounting: Basic accounting

Specific Skills: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, Take, cancel and change room reservations, Provide information on hotel facilities and services, Provide general information about points of interest in the area, Arrange services required for guests with special needs, Process wake-up calls, Investigate and resolve complaints and claims, Exchange foreign currency, Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms

Security and Safety: Bondable

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Finding information, Computer use

Other Information: Approximately 32 hours per week.

Languages: Other than English, the applicant should speak French, read French, write French.
