Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.

Type of Travel: Long-haul, International

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation

Communication Equipment Experience: Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel overnight

Essential Skills: Reading text, Working with others
