Area of Functional Expertise: Program planning and development, Program implementation and delivery, Program evaluation, Geriatric Recreation (Kincare, Eden Alternative, Gentlecare)

Specific Skills: Train staff and volunteers, Design, develop and deliver fitness counselling and exercise programs, Design, develop and deliver social/recreational programs

Additional Skills: Supervise professional staff, program leaders and instructors and volunteer staff, Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Hours are 8am to 4PM Tuesday to Friday.Experience and training in gerontology, rehabilitation, social work, nursing, occupational therapy or related health sciences needed.32 hour/week position
