Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training, completed university. Experience: at least a full year’s experience. Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate. Work Setting: Nursing home Type of Clients: Seniors, Persons with physical disabilities Area of Functional Expertise: Event planning and organization, Program implementation and delivery, Geriatric Recreation (Kincare, Eden Alternative, Gentlecare) Specific Skills: Schedule facility programs and staff, Train staff and volunteers, Lobby for funding and support, Design, develop and deliver social/recreational programs Security and Safety: Criminal record check Languages: Other than English, the applicant should speak French.
