Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class D or 3).

Travel Experience: Local

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle, Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Looking for courier drivers for cube/cargo van. Class 1 license is an asset as you would be able to operate larger equipment if required. Class 5 license accepted depending on courier experience.
