Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Specific Skills: Prepare and cook full course meals, Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods, Work with minimal supervision, Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, Estimate food requirements and costs, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Order supplies and equipment, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.), Clean kitchen and work areas, Wash dishes, Schedule staff, Organize and manage buffets and banquets, Manage kitchen operations

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation provided, Rural community, Remote location

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check

Other Information: This is a temporary position for the month of September and a possibility of renewal for June-September 2011. Team of two preferred for cook / caretaker.
