Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $11.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate.

Type of Clientele: Seniors, Elderly, Persons with a mental health disability, Terminally ill, Female, Male

Specific Skills: Prepare, cook and serve meals, Plan menus for special diets, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning, Provide companionship, Care for individuals and families, Administer bedside and personal care, Assist clients to walk, Aid clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Willing to travel regularly

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Essential Skills: Document use, Writing

Other Information: Applicant must have valid First Aid + CPR. Personal Support Worker certification is preferred.
